  • Tried their Sunday roast menu and it was delicious! The “Vegemite” butter was extremely unique as it doesn’t actually contain Vegemite and tasted like black sesame paste which I love. The roast beef was SOLID. The roast potatoes were a real highlight. I left feeling very satisfied but way too full. I do wish the restaurant was brighter inside though, especially when it is sunny outside and you don’t want to eat in the dark at lunch time.

  • This is a great spot for a small groups, and couples. Staff were very attentive, and friendly. The food was fantastic! Everything was equally great quality. My friend and I particularly loved beetroot leaves tempura. Rabbit meat was very nice too. Only thing I might have needed to point out was the music was slightly loud. I wouldn’t bother it if I were by myself. But, it was a bit hard to talk to each other. It was generally a fantastic experience. Highly recommend it to anyone.

  • I am feeling like repeating myself over and over again regarding Melbourne Wine Bars, how good they are, how meticulously food was prepared and presented, how innovative is menu in each and very one of them, how much attention was directed at serving staff and their attitude and natural, seamless approach towards the patrons.... And yet again, this one is another "repeat" review and I just can't help it!!!! It was great, enjoyable, comfortable, warm, just perfect! I would never even thought in my wildest dreams that simple vegetable like Carrot or Aubergine will surprise me to that level with such a complex taste, depth and layers of spice, texture & different ways they can be prepared! So, Chef : 5Star !! As a avid carnivore I will retract my basic instincts and suggest everyone should try those ones. Excellent!!!! Also, Kangaroo skewers were really soft , well marinated and "Not Gamy" at all, Focaccia with Vegemite butter - excellent Wine list extensive and well selected! But main feel is "welcomed and comfortable" so that what it was Highly recommended, dont miss it! We will be back Jana & Boris

  • Amazing service, our server was gregarious and friendly. The atmosphere is calm and warm. And very nice decor. We ordered the chefs selection for 3 as well as their special fried chicken . The devilled eggs were my favourite but the entire meal of breads, dips, asparagus, leeks, chicken and pork belly was fantastic. Second favourite was the delicious coconut ice cream . We'll definitely be back. Oh! And the Noel sour was tip top. Tart Nd delicious. Good job guys n gals.

  • I'm seriously undecided if the reason I love this place is headed by the wines or the food. No its clear. The food is great but the wines by the glass and bottle selections are incredible. The glass options could not get more funky. Romania meets Italy via Aussie rare varietals. One key. Ask Zoe.

  • A beautiful restaurant. Low key, friendly staff that give you the space and time to check out the superb menu. Which is wise when you begin to look at the wine list! It's an extensive journey around the world and varieties that you won't see anywhere else. We had the oysters, scallop, cheeses with honey, chicken maryland, flathead and all the sides ( zucchini and tahini asparagus and pumpkin miso, and of course the hot chips). All the dishes served were balanced, exquisitely flavoursome with a Mediterranean lean. Obviously sourced from the best suppliers, the scallops were a stand out. I really appreciate the care that the staff take with such spectacular produce. We will return, maybe have the steak next time. Thank you, it was a special lunch made perfect. Cheers!

  • Amazing experience all around - we had a table for 2, started with cheeses and wine which were all incredible, followed by the ‘Chefs Selection’ set menu. Highly recommend - every course was perfectly cooked/prepared. The in house processes that go into the dishes were explained by our server Will (absolute legend), who was entertaining and added so much to our evening. Food was delicious, wine recommendations on point, and just great overall. The best dining experience of our Melbourne trip by far.
